Doggie Styles Natural Pet Grooming

Services

At Doggie Styles, our prices reflect the time involved with grooming each pet. Grooming charges vary according to the breed, temperament, and condition of the coat, hair cut/style, size/weight, and skin condition. Each pet's needs are assessed individually. If you would like a base price quote for a dog or cat groom, please call 802-654-7387 and we will be happy to assist you. Upon meeting you and your pet we can provide you with an estimate.

The Bath & Tidy:

This service is designed for light maintenance between full grooms. Depending on the length of coat, the cost is usually 1/2 to 3/4 of the regular grooming price. The Bath & Tidy’s isn’t generally appropriate for shedding breeds, however, we can work together to find a grooming program to fit your dog and your lifestyle. Please call us at 654-7387!

Allergy/Itch Relief Bath:

We have a wide variety of shampoos and conditioners to help your pet find relief from seasonal allergies, fleabite dermatitis, dry flakey skin and dull coat. Let’s see if we can make a difference!

Nail Trimming:

We can trim just about any dog’s nails. It’s all about staying calm, breathing deeply, confidently reassuring your pet and visualizing a successful nail trim! We have seen many, many difficult nail trims become routine simply by coming regularly (every 6-8 weeks is fine). After 3-4 appointments, the stress level drops noticeably and even though your dog may never love having a nail trim, it can become quick and easy. We are always amazed at how adaptable dogs can be. We can’t fully explain it fully, but we know it’s true.

Most nail trims are $15, filing is available upon request for an additional $5.

The Brush Out

Many dogs shed, this we all know. Sometimes what your dog really needs is a thorough brushing. Overbathing can dryout some coats, especially Collies, Shelties and Golden Retrievers. Brushing out the dead undercoat not only reduces shedding dramatically, but also acts to work the natural skin oils through the coat, increasing coat health and shine. Breeds that benefit most from more brushing and less bathing include but are not limited to Collies, Shelties, Newfoundlands, St. Bernards, Bernese Mountain Dogs, German Shepards, Australian Shepards and Border Collies. This service usually cost $20-40. It can be combined with a nail trimming and trim work for an additional fee. Call us at 654-7387 to see if a brush out is right for your dog.
