For as long as I can remember, my one true love has been working with horses. My sister (Crystal Smith) made life as a child wonderful as she is a trainer and has had horses almost my whole life. In 1997 my mom bought me my first horse. Twenty year-old Fudge was a retired racehorse with the spunk of a four year-old. I loved him! I got my second horse as a surprise in July of 1998. At three months old, Dusty was a handful. It wasn't until we moved to Vermont in 1999 that we finally figured him out. He loves to work and hated his name (yeah, I know it's werid, right?) so now he is known as Davinci and at thirteen years old we finally have a good relationship.

My sister, Crystal has been a groomer since 1989. She and I have always loved dogs. I worked as a bather for almost three years before I was hired at Doggie Styles in May of 2010. SInce then I have apprenticed under Joanne to hone my grooming skills. I love all dogs, I am especially adept at grooming Poodles and Poodle mixes, Pomeranians, Bichons and occassionally the big and hairy. I love a challenge and the rewards of grooming.
