I moved to Vermont in 2018 in search of a fresh start for me and my pups. What we found was peace, and a place where our souls were fed! It was truly the best decision I’ve ever made, right along with applying for a job at Doggie Styles, where my schnauzer Scout was lovingly groomed by Jessica Ahearn.
My journey started in Wales where I was born and raised until 12, then my family emigrated to Australia where I completed my schooling. Later in my twenties I moved to New Orleans and lived there for 22 tumultuous, educational and wonderful years.
I work front-of-house so you’ll probably talk with me on the phone, or chat via text or email at some point…you’ll soon get a taste of my british sense of humor, and find yourself wondering what bizarre accent you’re hearing. Working at Doggie Styles gives me an enormous amount of job satisfaction, and it doesn’t hurt that I love all my co-workers and look forward to coming to work every day.
I’m a lifelong animal lover and haven’t met an animal I didn’t love. My dearest boy Scout passed in December 2022, but I am grateful that his sweet brother Tux is still with me. We also live with a fabulous Chihuahua called Pepper and a cat called Puss. When I’m not at work, I like to walk my dog and I also pet-sit and dog walk on the side. I also love to hibernate while watching tv and doing puzzles. I love all things sci-fi and can quote Monty Python verbatim.😊
