I have loved animals my entire life. This shows not only in my grooming work, but in my support and volunteering for local rescues including Little Paws Big Hearts Pekingese Rescue, Poodle Rescue of Vermont, and many other local charities as well. My husband Mike and I are also an Approved Foster Family for Pekingese Rescue and Poodle Rescue of Vermont.

Mike and I and our daughter live in Milton with our Chihuahua Cricket, Standard Poodle Charlie, and Shih Tzu’s Pippa and Monty. We miss all our pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

I graduated with Honors from Vermont Technical College in 1994 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology, and passed the National Exam for Veterinary Technicians. I worked in Veterinary Hospitals for 10 years before pursuing full-time pet grooming, starting with attendance at Arizona Pet Grooming School in 2001.

After 25 years of grooming, specializing in Terriers, I have decided to shift my focus to cat grooming. I have a great affection for cats and cat grooming. Most cat owners find that keeping a regular grooming schedule of 8-12 weeks has tremendous benefit for both the owner and the health of the cat. I welcome your questions, as chatting cats is something I truly enjoy!
